The usage 'and other temple arts' in the home page is misleading. Projecting Kathakali, kootiyattam etc as temple arts is factually, historically and politically wrong. If they are temple arts how can you perform them at Karthikathirunal and Theerthapadha Mandapam? There were some art forms closely related to temples, but, in the modern age they also have been liberated to the public sphere (at least for their survival). According to me, Indigenous and Classical Performing Arts will be more suitable.
